We have a Spanish Biliteracy Pathway program at Glen Park School. A child in this pathway typically comes from a native Spanish-speaking household or is Spanish proficient when tested by the district. Unlike in Spanish Immersion, there are no English-only students learning Spanish in the Biliteracy Pathway. This gives us the opportunity to focus on the needs of the Spanish bilingual and monolingual students. The goal of the pathway is for each child to leave our school completely bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural.
